Choosing The Right Feng Shui Bedroom Colors

When you are planning on a bedroom remodeling, be sure to take the paint colors your bedroom walls into consideration. Keeping with the feng shui ideals, we should select bedroom colors that will be best suited to allow for a more relax environment and create a much better living (and sleeping) atmosphere for the inhabitants.

When selecting a feng shui bedroom colors, you want to choose those that follows some specific guidelines. You can either select to choose a lightly faint color or natural tone colors. These are things such as peach, or a very faint shade of color. Some good colors to create that perfect environment will include, light baby blue, a very faint white-blue mix, a very lightly shaded green mint color, or any other color that is toned down to produce a more relax view.

Always keep in mind that the color selection of the wall should always be based on the preference of the person who will be living and sleeping in the room. So this means, that even if you like a particular color for a particular room, you should never ever try to enforce or restrict the painting of the room walls to only this one color. Why? Well just because you like the color doesn’t mean that someone else will and if you decide that you know best and paint the room to the color that you like while the person who will be living and sleeping in the room doesn’t, it will defeat the purpose of creating a relaxing environment to the person who will be living and sleeping there.

Typically, you don’t want your feng shui bedroom colors to be a mixture, striped, patterned. This will create a very “busy” scene in the room and which could lead to the person becoming easily distracted when they are trying to focus on getting some work done.

So whenever you are decorating or remodeling your own bedroom and you want to keep with the feng shui tradition, then always try to stick with a softer, muted, and neutral color tone while avoiding stripes and patterns in your painting. Learn more about feng shui color selections.
